A side view and an angled view of the 4 millimeter thick TV
We weren't allowed to take pictures of the assembly plant because they have phones there that are still under development, but I did manage to get a picture of this flat screen TV that is already for sale in Korea. It is a 55-inch HD TV that is only 4 millimeters thick (that's thinner than an iPhone!).
Another cool thing they had was a TV that showed two images (for playing head-to-head video games on the same TV), where each image could only be viewed by wearing special glasses.
Chinese restaurant for lunch
After touring the LG factory, we went and had lunch at a Chinese restaurant. Almost all of the food was fried (and therefore not gluten-free), so I ate rice and soup for lunch.
My Yonsei student ID
After we got back to Yonsei University, I went and got my student ID and then headed over to the book store to get some school supplies and a Yonsei t-shirt. The shirt was super cheap, only 12,000 won (about $12). The shirts at Georgia State cost around $25 each so I thought it was a steal!
Yonsei t-shirt, notebooks, and pencil case!
After the book store, I went back to the dorm and took a nap. The afternoons are really hot and humid here (maybe even worse than Atlanta), so it's nice to take a break and go inside in the afternoon.
I met up with some friends at 7:15 and we headed out to find dinner in Sinchon (the district that Yonsei is near). I can't remember the name of the place we ate at, but they served fried rice with meat and vegetables that you cook in front of you. It didn't have any soy sauce so it was gluten free and very tasty. It was only 4,500 won for a meal and you got a lot of food.
Me wearing a goofy bib and smiling with the dinner we ate. The food pictured was for two people.
After dinner, we met up with a group of girls we knew on the street just by chance and we all headed to a bubble tea place and I bought papaya flavored bubble tea. On the way back from the bubble tea place, we walked past an arcade and saw a guy who was really, really good at Dance Dance Revolution, which is a dancing/rhythm arcade game.
He was playing the two player version of the game by himself on a hard difficulty. It was really impressive and he had a decent crowd watching him play. Here's a video I took of him playing:

After watching the guy play in the arcade for a while we decided to head back to the dorms. Right now I've just finished typing this blog post and I'm getting ready for the first day of class tomorrow morning!
That's all for now~
