Back to school again! We've been assigned a group project in my Premodern Korean History class. My group has to do a 15-minute presentation on Deoksu Palace, which is a palace in Seoul. I'm not required to visit it but I figure I might as well since it's in the same city as me!
I've got midterms coming up this week, and both of them are back to back on Thursday, so I'll probably not be doing too much this week besides studying!
After class today, I had 제육볶음 (jay-yook boke-oom) for lunch, which is one of my favorite Korean dishes (spicy pork and rice).
I had originally planned to go to one of the famous palaces in Seoul or maybe to Bukhansan, which is a mountain in Seoul, but all of the places were closed on Monday! Since I hate to waste days while I'm here, I decided to walk around the areas of Hongdae and Sinchon that I had not been to yet, which was nice but very tiring in the afternoon sun! I also wandered around in the Hyundai department store for a while and then finally came back to Yonsei.
I was feeling lazy so I ate a microwave dinner and then did my nightly reading for my classes before going to bed!
I probably won't post much these next two days because for the most part I'm going to be hanging out at Yonsei and studying for finals (so there's nothing interesting to talk about, unless you want to hear about the Goguryeo kingdom, haha).
This weekend, I've got plans to go to the Boryeong Mud Festival, which is essentially a festival where people play in the mud (mud slides, mud wrestling, etc.) in the town of Boryeong, Korea..
That's all for now!
