Day 29 - Namdaemun

Today I went to Namdaemun, which is a famous shopping area, because I needed to find a really cheap pair of shorts to wear to the Mud Festival that I didn't mind ruining with mud and a friend recommended to me that I could get a pair there for pretty cheap.

Namdaemun is so cool! It is exactly what I think of when I imagine a crowded marketplace, with winding streets and countless vendors and people. I wandered around for a while just looking at all the booths and even found my way into an underground market that was extremely dense with small aisles between booths and a ton of people!

Eventually I found some shorts that struck my fancy and they were only 6,000 won, so I bought them! I continued to wander around a bit and look around at the various shops before I decided to head back to Yonsei University.

Once I got back to Yonsei, I went out and ate a small dinner with a friend as I wasn't too hungry and then I headed back to my dorm and turned in early for the night because I had to wake up at 5:30 the next morning to go to the Boryeong Mud Festival!
